OUR STANDARD broke sharply, stalked the early pace three wide, moved up to contest the lead in the upper stretch before taking command shortly after, kicked clear to be much the best. HEAVENLY BELIEFS was bumped at the start, sat behind the pace on the inside, looked for a gap to split on the inside just before the three sixteenths but was blocked back to last, found best stride late to split foes for the place award. BROCK'S BOY tracked the pace four wide, made no bid. RUN DAVID RUN quickly claimed the early lead, came under pressure in the turn and upper stretch, gave way at the three sixteenths, weakened late.
