CONTEMPLATION saved ground in the first turn, advanced five wide up the backstretch and far turn, pressed the pace entering the stretch, dug in late to pull away. DECCAN PRINCE (IRE) slightly rank approaching the first turn, sat behind the pace on the inside, tipped out in the far turn to edge a lead in the upper stretch, grudgingly gave way late. GORILLA TREK settled off the pace four wide, angled inside entering the stretch then back out three wide to be up for the show award. Z Z'S PRINCE took a slight hold before the first turn, raced in the middle of the pack between rivals, split foes late but was out-finished. SKIPPER'S PRIDE rushed to the early lead to set a pressured pace, conceded the lead at the three sixteenths and faded. BRIT'S WIT raced not too far off the pace on the inside, finished evenly. TOWERING STORM trailed for most, improved along the outside. EVEN THE WIND was pinched back at the start, moved up between horses to find the middle of the pack, weakened in the stretch. PICO D'ORO raced off the pace, never threatened. PARROT HEAD a bit rank approaching the first turn, pressed the early pace, retreated at the quarter. MAILMAN MONEY tracked the pace four wide, retreated in the far turn.
