Footnotes
PIRATE RADIO led in the two path early, allowed outer foes to go by after the five-eights and had to steady along the inside going into the turn, was coaxed along in the two path around the turn, angled out to the five path and bumped with an outer foe in upper stretch, then rallied to draw past an inner foe in the closing stages. SIXTEEN CIGARETTES was up close in the five path early, bid in the four path midway around the turn, dueled with an inner foe and bumped while holding a narrow lead passing the eighth pole, inched ahead of that foe passing the sixteenth, but was caught by an outer foe late. KNOX chased in the six path, was driven in the four path around the turn, bumped with an inner foe while back out in the six path in upper stretch, and kept on for show. FLATTER ME prompted the pace in the three path, led along the inside around the turn, was cued midway around the turn, dug in from the three path in upper stretch, bumped with an outer foe passing the eighth pole, and yielded in the final sixteenth. ROWDY JESS trailed in the two path and was never a factor. THINGSRGETTINHARRY had an awkward start, stalked in the four path early, vied for the lead after the five-eighths pole, led briefly from the two path going into the turn, but retreated.
