Footnotes
FOUR TOP bumped with MAGIC SLIPS at the start, trailed inside early, advanced four wide around the far turn, reached even terms outside of foes in upper stretch, dueled to deep stretch and edged ahead late. NEVER SAY NEVER settled off the pace in the four path, advanced four wide around the far turn, took the lead near the quarter pole, dueled inside of the winner from there and gave way grudgingly. KOSHER CAPONE stalked the pace three wide, took the lead near the three-eighths pole, vied to midstretch and held well enough for the show. NOBLE TIGER had his head turned at the start, raced off the pace three wide, advanced three wide around the far turn but needed more in the lane. REGGAE MAN saved ground in range, was shuffled back nearing the quarter pole, tipped out for clear run in upper stretch and lacked a rally. MAGIC SLIPS bumped at the start, raced two wide in midpack and lacked the needed response. STEELER MISCHIEF set the pace along the rail and gave way near the three-eighths marker. BETTER LUCK pressed the pace two wide and retreated after six furlongs.
