Footnotes
RAGTAP GIRL saved ground off the pace, steadied late on the first turn, advanced four wide around the far turn, seized command in upper stretch and drew off under a drive. MATHURINE saved ground in range, bid between foes near the five-sixteenths pole, vied to midstretch, was no match for the winner but won the place duel. CARNANE (IRE) bumped at the the start, raced off the pace three wide, bid three wide midway around the far turn, vied to midstrech then lost the place battle. I LOVE IRELAND broke slowly, saved ground and never threatened. DREAM DIAMOND set the early pace along the rail, chased inside down the backstretch, briefly regained the lead when the leaders bore out around the far turn but had little left for the drive and was eased through the final furlong. VANILLA CREAM bumped at the start, tracked the pace two wide, bid early on the far turn, was forced extremely wide by a bolting BASILICA LIGHT nearing the five-sixteenths marker and was eased from there. BASILICA LIGHT was rank at the start, rushed up four wide around the first turn, bolted early on the far turn and was eased.
