DIXIE ESCAPE was bounced around at the start, trailed inside, circled five wide around the far turn, closed outside, was up near the sixteenth pole and edged ahead under a drive. DIAMONDS N THRILLS raced well back four and five wide, lugged in nearing the eighth pole and rallied for the place. NOT ONE LESS settled off the pace while racing two wide, swung five wide near the eighth pole and rallied for the show. MAXINE MAGIC raced two and three wide in midpack, made some progress in upper stretch, was bumped near the eighth pole and lacked a further rally. TRUMPETTA bumped at the start, raced in range four wide, made progress in upper stretch, was on heels and bumped in midstretch and dropped back. GRAY LARK bumped at the start, prompted the pace two wide, took the lead near the quarter pole, led to the sixteenth marker and weakened inside. PALMO bumped at the start, saved ground and never threatened. SPLASH DIVE bumped at the start, chased the pace inside and lacked a closing bid. SABBY SUNSET set the pace along the rail and retreated after six furlongs. LA TREMENDA raced up close while getting out around the first turn, chased three wide around the far turn and faltered nearing the quarter pole. SUBLIME MISSION chased the pace five wide and retreated after a half. AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF TRUMPETTA AGAINST DIAMONDS N THRILLS FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH WAS NOT ALLOWED.
