RIVER THAMES pressed the pace from the rail, took the lead midway around the turn, drew off in upper stretch and widened under a drive. SOUPER TIMES raced off the contested pace in the clear in the three path, could not match strides with the winner in upper stretch but kept on to gain the place late. ROLANDO broke outwardly and bumped INDECISIVENESS at the start, set the pace two wide, yielded to the winner nearing the five-sixteenths marker, could not keep pace in upper stretch and lost second late. INDECISIVENESS was bumped at the start, saved ground off the pace and lacked the needed rally. LOU bumped at the start, raced off the pace three wide and never threatened. STRENGTHNGUIDANCE bumped at the start, raced four wide and played no further factor. CONQUERING CAT chased the pace two wide and was through after a half. TUX was bumped on both sides at the start, raced far back three wide and was eased in the lane.
