CARENTAN prompted the pace in the three path, bid under a ride in the two path passing the three-eighths mark, took the lead midway around the far turn, and kicked on while still in the two path down the lane, to draw clear in the final sixteenth. JERRY'S TURN rated in the three path, was cued midway around the far turn, floated out to the five path turning into the stretch, and ran on while on his left lead for place. REMERTON set the pace in the two path, lost the lead while under coaxing along the inside midway around the far turn, dug in turning into the lane, but yielded in the final sixteenth. SECRET LOVER raced off the pace in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, angled out to the four path at the top of the stretch, and improved. SELECTO laid in range in the two path but was one paced in the three path down the lane. LAS OLAS trailed in the four path, floated out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but made no impact. SANPIRODU chased in the four path but never menaced.
