Footnotes
RIGEL set the pace inside, was coaxed early around the far turn, kicked on from the two path into the lane, and dug in through the final furlong to just hold off a late charging outer foe. ALLEY OOP JOHNNY hopped at the start, laid up close in the two path, was nudged along in the three path around the far turn, tipped out to the four path turning into the stretch, ran on to bid in the final sixteenth, but just missed. SALVATTORE PRINCE bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced in midpack along the inside, was ridden around the far turn, angled out to the five path at the top of the lane, and finished evenly. SOULMATE bumped with an inner foe at the start, then bumped with an outer foe and had to check going into the first turn, checked again turning into the backstretch, raced off the pace in the two path, was roused from the rail passing the quarter, tipped out to the four path passing the eighth pole, but made no impact. BELLY OF JELLY rated in the four path, was cued into the far turn, fanned out to the seven path turning into the lane, but was no factor. OCALA DREAM bumped with an inner foe going into the first turn, chased in the four path, was cued from the three path early into the far turn, swung from the six path into the stretch, but did not threaten. LIGHT FURY prompted the pace in the three path, bid in the two path rounding the far turn, tipped back out to the three path at the top of the lane, but had to steady nearing the final sixteenth, and yielded. GENERAL'S DUTY bumped between foes and steadied going into the first turn, stalked in the three path but retreated. ARASHI had a slow start and trailed throughout.
