Footnotes
BAKERS STREET set the pace in the two path and dug in gamely to hold sway. BATTLE DRUM (FR) steadied entering the first turn, raced in range two and three wide, rallied through the lane and just missed. EXCITE prompted the winner in the three path, bumped MISTY MEMORIES nearing the sixteenth pole and kept on for the show. GEARING UP saved ground in range, bid at the rail nearing the eighth pole but was outkicked late. MISTY MEMORIES (IRE) broke slowly, saved ground well back, tipped out in upper stretch, made good progress through midstretch, was bumped near the sixteenth pole, checked off heels and was blocked through the final sixteenth of a mile. NO MORE WAR failed to menace while racing three wide. ELEVEN BRAVO veered out at the start, advanced four wide around the first turn, pressed the pace down the backstretch, dueled in the three path around the far turn and tired in the drive. THEN WHAT was outrun inside. SIR OSCAR played no factor while racing four wide.
