CORRUPTION tracked the pacesetter in the clear inside, bid two wide around the far turn, took the lead near the quarter pole, kicked clear nearing the eighth pole and dug in late . IL SICILIANO was reluctant to load, raced off the pace two and three wide, closed outside and just missed. GREYSTONE raced well back two and three wide, swung nine wide in upper stretch and rallied through the lane. MUTAAWID raced off the pace two wide, edged closer four wide around the far turn and rallied belatedly. VESTING (IRE) settled off the pace while racing two wide, advanced outside down the backstretch, bid three deep rounding the far turn, turned for home on near even terms outside of the winner and weakened. MEYER saved ground far turn, swung widest in upper stretch and passed tiring rivals. L'ANTHARIS (FR) chased the pace inside and lacked the needed rally. PHILIP MY DEAR was reluctant to load, raced in range two and three wide and lacked a closing bid. CLASSIC CREATION saved ground and failed to menace. TWOWAYCROSSING raced in range two wide, bid three deep rounding the far turn but faded through the lane. WENTRU was hustled to the lead, set the pace along the rail and retreated through the stretch. ROYAL SPIRIT was outrun inside.
