STARSHIP MELODY raced in range in the five path around the first turn, advanced in the four path around the far turn, seized command in upper stretch, quickly drew off, angled to the rail soon after and widened under a drive. CHITCHATCHITCHAT stalked the pace from the rail, tipped out near the quarter pole, could not match strides with the winner in upper stretch but kept on to be a clear second. SMOOTH CLARET chased the pace four wide, lacked the needed rally but churned on for the show. WITH KINDNESS set the pace in the two path and tired in the drive. SOCIAL TRIUMPH was outrun inside. LINDSAY SMILES pressed the pace in the three path and faltered nearing the quarter pole. GOLDEN VALLEY was outrun while racing two and three wide.
