PURE CLASS chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late to get up for the win. GATSBY led the way on the inside early, navigated the turn from the two path and dueled to the wire but was caught late after drifting in the final furlong. CADET CORPS raced off the pace up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and improved position in the stretch. ROAR READY tracked the leaders on the inside through the opening quarter, swung out to the four path coming around the bend and was outkicked in the stretch after switching to the inside to find racing room in the final furlong. SMOOTH FLYIN MIKE pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three path and weakened in the stretch. THOUGHT bobble leaving the gate, recovered to stalk the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and tired in the lane.
