BRINGER OF RAIN pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn and held the lead to the wire while drifting out in late stretch. SPEED CONTROL tracked the leader on the outside through the opening quarter, came around the turn in the three path, began a bid entering the stretch and improved position to the finish. LUNI SIMA raced off the pace on the outside early, began a bid from the five path coming around the turn and improved position in the stretch. URANIUM raced off the pace between horses through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the two path and passed tiring horses in the lane. MAJOR KING led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled while saving ground around the bend and faded in the stretch. SELF TAUGHT raced off the pace between horses up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and made no bid. ROYAL ACT bobbled slightly leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the inside through the early going, dropped back to trail the field while saving ground around the bend and was empty from there.
