Footnotes
PLAYGROUND LEGEND raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and kicked clear in the lane. WESTSIDE TIDE bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, raced in the middle of the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn in the two path, began a bid in upper stretch and improved position from there. NANO MAN bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, saved ground early, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and chased on in the stretch. JOINT RESOLUTION raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn still in the three path and was outkicked in the lane. KOSHER CAPONE raced in the three path early, pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and weakened in the stretch. NOBLE TIGER bumped with the horses to either side leaving the gate, raced in the two path around the first turn, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the second bend still in the two path and made no bid. VIGANO trailed the field the entire way around the oval and despite saving ground throughout, was never a factor.
