Starters to be named by usual time of closing. All fees shall be paid prior to the start of the race. SEMINOLE CHIEF fought his rider while racing in the two path around the first turn, pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path, dueled in the stretch and edged clear late. PORTOFINO saved ground around the first turn, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far bend and dug in in the lane but gave way late. ABRUMAR saved ground around the first bend, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and gained ground late to just miss second. MAJOR DUDE bumped soundly with the horse to his outside at the start, raced in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, navigated the second bend from the three path, began a bid in traffic with a furlong to go and gained ground steadily to the finish from there. FLY THE W raced off the pace in the two path through the opening half mile, came around the far turn in the three path and made up some ground in the lane. SKYRO bumped with the horses to either side leaving the gate, raced in the four path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the four path coming around the far bend and was outkicked in the stretch. BRAWN raced in the four path early, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path and weakened in the lane. ICE CHOCOLAT (BRZ) bumped with the horses to his inside at the break, chased the leader between horses around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued around the second bend still in the two path and faded in the stretch. AXTHELM saved ground early, raced in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and tired from there. DOCTOR JEFF raced in the two path around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack between horses for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the two path, showed no kick and left the track in an equine ambulance after pulling up after the gallop out and walking onto the van with signs of having bled during the race. RUSE raced in the three path around the first turn, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the four path and was empty in the lane.
