Footnotes
FIVE G raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far bend and edged clear in the lane. ANNA'S PROMISE raced in the three path early, tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, dueled from the two path around the far bend and could not go with the winner in the stretch but chased that rival home, the best of the rest. CASSIAR raced in the three path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and made up some ground in the lane while never threatening the top two. WHATINTHELITERAL raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, saved ground around the far bend and showed no kick. PARADISE CITY saved ground around the first turn, settled off the pace on the inside for the run up the backstretch, moved up while racing in the two path around the second bend and flattened out in the lane. THE QUEENS M G saved ground around the first bend, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, dropped back coming around the far turn, pulled up nearing the quarter pole and later left the track in an equine ambulance.
