ADVERSARY shadowed the early pace setter, backed off another length in the turn before making a four wide bid in the upper stretch, reeled in the remaining three with time to spare. CARCONE was rated along the inside, made a move along the rail as SMOKIN JACK FLASH allowed a gap to open up at the three sixteenths, battled alongside three others until giving way to the winner in the final yards. LAZIO advanced along the outside of the backstretch to stalk the pace three wide through the turn, entered the stretch in a competitive position, led briefly at the eighth but was out-finished late, remained on the left lead throughout the stretch. SMOKIN JACK FLASH quickly set a pressured pace from along the inside, entered the stretch in the two path and met bids from both sides, conceded the lead at the eighth and flattened out. TOOLPUSHER opted to be the early trailer, picked off foe at the quarter, closed willingly but couldn't gain position. WASAMATTAFOYOU tracked the pace between foes, pinched back entering the turn, failed to respond to the rider's encouragement and trailed at the quarter.
