Footnotes
EMIRATES AFFAIR was rated three wide, stalked the leader three wide on the turn and made a three wide bid by the quarter pole, came four wide into the lane dueling for command, gained a short lead by the furlong marker and then was shown the crop thru the furlong grounds while drawing clear as a handy winner. ATALANTA ALEXANDRA vied for the early lead two wide, then pressed the pace on the inside and made a rail bid nearing the quarter pole, moved out leaving the turn to come three wide into the lane, could not go with the winner in the final furlong while being second best. ALESS QUEEN vied for the early lead three wide, set a pressured pace in the two path on the turn, passed inside and outside nearing the quarter pole and checked hard, then recovered and kept on willingly to clearly best the rest. GULLFAXI was settled early inside early on the turn and eased out to be three wide by the quarter pole, swung out five wide leaving the turn but had no late rally. NEOM CITY was off slowly, outside pursuit, four wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane and lacked a rally. FONTINA tracked the early pace on the inside, two wide entering the turn and fell back on the turn and then was empty. Jockeys Objections the number seven claimed foul against both the winner number six and the runner up the number two for interference around the quarter pole, after the Stewards reviewed the replays the Objections were disallowed and the race was left as is.
