OLD FLAG (IRE) laid off the pace in the two path, was roused midway around the far turn, angled out to the six path in upper stretch, and rallied past inner foes to win going away. BANDOOLA set the pace in the two path, was challenged by an outer foe while along the rail entering the far turn, lost the lead at the top of the stretch, dug in to regain the lead approaching the eighth pole, but was caught around the sixteenth by a late surging outer foe. SUGAR BUZZ raced up close in the three path, bid in the two path going into the far turn, took the lead at the top of the lane, but hung down the lane to end up with show. TRIUMPHANT ROAD had a slow start, rated in the four path, was cued midway around the turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, bumped with an inner foe just before the eighth pole, and mildly improved late. BE THERE tracked between foes in the three path, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, swung from the four path into the lane, but flattened in the final furlong. SIR MENDEL laid in range in the two path but flattened in the stretch. SUMMER STORM STRIC trailed inside, was roused while angling out to the six path turning into the lane, but got stymied and had to alter inwards to the four path passing the eighth pole, and made no impact. NOBLE TIGER stalked in the four path, floated out to the six path turning into the stretch, bumped with an outer foe nearing the eighth pole, and weakened.
