HOT CARGO dueled for the lead on the inside, made a bid nearing the quarter pole to gain a short lead, shook clear leaving the turn two wide, then was put to a stiff drive left handed and drifted out slightly late while holding on gamely to prove best. OBSTREPEROUS tracked the dueling leaders and saved ground on the turn, waited and made a inside bid leaving the turn and was gaining but missed. WRIGLEYVILLE tracked the leaders and inched closer on the turn and made a three wide bid leaving the turn but hung in the furlong grounds and then checked in deep stretch. MARCO T. was settled early, three path on the turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn and had a mild late kick. PROUD MARY was settled back early, two to three path on the turn and had a belated rally. VINDICATE CHA CHA dueled for the lead outside the winner and two wide on the turn but weakened in the drive. THE DOVE RULES was settled back early, came three wide into the lane and passed the tiring rivals. DEFINITE DIVA tracked the pace in between rivals and weakened. DEFLECTION was reserved on the outside, advanced four to five wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane and bumped with a rival leaving the turn and had no late kick. SPARKLING STAR (PER) was settled early and checked nearing the five sixteenths and weakened. SPEIGHTFULELECTION chased the pace four wide and came five wide into the lane and bumped with a rival and weakened. LIONZA was off slowly, rushed up the inside and then checked by the five sixteenths and after that was eased in the lane, walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY into the running in the stretch, but after reviewing the replays the race was left as is.
