DYNAMIC EMPIRE saved ground around the first turn, chased leaders on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path, drifted in in upper stretch, bumped with WILLINGNESS with a furlong to go and dueled to the wire to get up for the win. WILLINGNESS raced in the three path early, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the far turn, drifted out and bumped with DYNAMIC EMPIRE near the eighth pole and dueled to the wire from there. NEIGH SAYER raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening half mile, came around the far bend still in the two path and improved position in the lane. DEVILMENT raced in the three path around the first bend, tracked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn in the two path and was weakening in the stretch before racing into traffic when WILLINGNESS drifted into his lane. CRYPTONYM raced off the pace on the outside through the opening half mile, navigated the far bend from the two path and showed no kick. FINAL DATA raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way on the outside up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and tired in the stretch. STARSHIP MAGELLAN raced off the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, continued to save ground around the second bend and was empty in the lane. AN INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE STRETCH RUN. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
