NAVY CROSS raced in the two path around the first turn, chased the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the two path coming around the far bend and kicked clear in the lane. CLEAR DESTINATION raced in the two path early, settled in the middle of the pack between horses for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late. TAPIT THREE TIMES saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the second bend in the two path and chased on from there. NERVES OF STEEL raced in the two path around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and weakened in the lane. DRAKON raced in the middle of the pack in the two path through the opening half mile, navigated the far turn from the three path and showed no kick. SMART STRIKER raced in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the far bend and made no bid. SALVATTORE PRINCE raced in the three path early, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn and was empty in the lane. SWASHBUCKLE was pinched back leaving the gate, saved ground around the first turn, raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and was never a factor.
