Footnotes
TSHIEBWE showed speed, remained along the inner rail, disputed the pace, drifted out in the drive and determinedly prevailed. ARROGANCY bobbled slightly at the break, disputed the pace between horses, held a short lead in mid stretch and hung. GATSBY broke alertly, prompted the pace three wide, bid for the lead leaving the turn and hung outside the top pair. PEACE NOT WAR , four wide on the turn, was well positioned leaving the turn and failed to rally in an even effort. SAYBROOK , wide on the turn, was not a factor. ALARIK (CHI) bobbled at the break, stayed along the inner rail on the turn and in the stretch and failed to rally.
