Footnotes
REVEREND MOON prominent early, stalked the pace four wide to the turn, was caught in tight and checked at the three-eighths marker, recovered and bid four wide at the quarter marker, battled into the stretch, dueled TRICKY TIGER into the final sixteenth then put away that rival and edged away in deep stretch. TRICKY TIGER pressed the pace two wide into the turn, vied for the lead into upper stretch, met the bid of REVEREND MOON into the final furlong, was outfinished by the winner and just held for the place at the wire. HOTTAKEJAKE squeezed at the start, advanced along the outside on the turn, swung six wide for the stretch drive, closed fast into the final sixteenth and just missed for the place. BERNARDO'S LEGACY stalked the early pace three deep, lost position into upper stretch then yielded in the final furlong. PAEZ pinched at the start, improved position two wide into upper stretch then could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth. SHOW BOAT bumped at the start, advanced outside of rivals into the turn, mounted a five wide rally into the stretch then lacked a final bid in deep stretch. WAMPANOAG CHIEF vied for the early lead then took command and set the pace to the turn, met oncoming bids into upper stretch, battled into the final furlong then faded late. OCEAN SOUL raced close up to the early pace, lost position heading to the turn and did not factor in the final stages. WOW BUBBLE settled off of the early pace while never far back, steadied while in a bit in tight entering the turn, chased two wide to the quarter pole, ran in pursuit three to four wide into the stretch and did not offer a late response. FLASHOVER vied for the early lead between runners, chased from the inside heading to the turn, was caught in tight at the three-eighths pole, lost position along the turn and gave way through the stretch.
