XY SPEED was prominent away from the start, pressed the early pace outside of YES I AM FREE, dueled that runner into the turn then continued to battle into upper stretch, put away YES I AM FREE into the final sixteenth and surged clear in deep stretch. ABRIR CAMINOS (CHI) broke in a step at the start, stalked the early pace from the inside and was well placed to the turn, tipped two wide into upper stretch, ran in pursuit of XY SPEED into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner late and held well for the place. LOUIE THE SUN KING squeezed at the start, tracked the pace two to three wide and between runners into the turn, raced a bit in tight along the bend then was shuffled back at the quarter marker and swung five wide into upper stretch, re-rallied while widest into the final furlong, got up in time for the show and just missed for the place in a good effort. BIZ BIZ BUZZ crowded at the start and away a step slowly, tracked from the inside into the turn, maintained a rail trip to the stretch, chased into the final sixteenth, could not muster the needed late response and just missed for the minor awards. YES I AM FREE showed good early speed, set a contested pace to the turn, met the bid of XY SPEED then dueled that rival to mid-stretch, grudgingly gave way in the final furlong and was outfinished for the minor awards. AND UWISH tracked the early pace from outside of runners, was well placed to the turn, chased three to four wide into upper stretch then was outkicked in the final furlong.
