LURE HIM IN broke sharply, contested the early pace then took command approaching the half-mile marker, held a clear lead into the second turn then showed the way to the stretch while off of the rail, kept to task while clear into the final furlong, was challenged late by the runner-up and held for the win in deep stretch. AWESOME TRAIN settled off of the early pace, tracked three then four wide into the backstretch run, asked for run three wide into the second turn, spun five wide into the lane, finished well into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and was a clear second best. RELAMPAGO VERDE allowed to settle early, mounted a four to five wide rally into the far turn, ran in pursuit six wide into upper stretch, flattened out in the late stages but was able to earn the show honors. LIFE IS PRECIOUS took back off of the early pace, advanced from between rivals nearing the half-mile pole, chased two wide to the quarter marker then spun three wide into upper stretch, could not muster the needed response into the final furlong and just missed for third. SUPER CORINTO (ARG) hustled to contest the early pace, lost position into the backstretch run and stalked from the inside heading to the half-mile marker, chased from the rail into the second turn, ran in pursuit into the stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and gave way. BOLD LOOKER squeezed at the start, was unhurried in the early going, chased two to three wide into upper stretch then did not factor in the drive. MANOR HOUSE was forwardly placed into the first turn, tracked from the inside then moved out to track three deep nearing the half-mile marker, gave chase into the far turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter marker then came up empty in the stretch.
