Footnotes
FIGHTING WORDS set the pace in the two path throughout and edged away under urging. FOURTY FOUR hit the outside of his starting gate stall at the break, advanced along the inner rail leaving the backstretch, remained along the rail chasing the winner, angled out in mid stretch and finished gamely. SUNDAY SONG lacked speed, circled the turn four wide, floated to the six path in upper stretch and had a slight rally. RELENTLESS RAIDER , four deep leaving the backstretch, moved to the five path in upper stretch and lacked a rally. BLAZING TYREEK saved ground on the turn, angled to the three path turning for home and failed to sustain his bid. UNCLE PACO , three deep on the turn, chased the winner and gave way.
