CARROLL'S HONOR made the early lead, remained near the inner rail throughout and pulled away through the stretch under a brisk hand ride. MEAN TO ME , three wide on the turn, remained oh her left lead in the stretch and gained the place. GOOD BRIGHT FLAMES broke slowly, was under brisk urging early, remained near the inner rail and faded. ELLAGIO chased the winner, drifted wide turning for home and gave way. ONE SPECIAL ACT , three wide leaving the turn, failed to rally. FIELD OF BLOSSOMS raced near the inner rail much of the trip and was no factor.
