Footnotes
STROKE OF MIDNIGHT tracked three wide to far turn, responded in the lane, surged late, got up. NAVY CROSS ceded the early lead, stalked to far turn, vied between foes to deep stretch, clung to a slim lead in the final strides and was nailed at the wire. KING D'ORO settled, tracked between to far turn, angled four wide to upper stretch, closed willingly late, up for third. QUEREME PASS (ARG) set pace to stretch, dug in upper, grudgingly gave way late. HOLY MOLY MOSES took back, tracked outside, coaxed four wide upper stretch, no rally. TIGRE broke in tangle, checked first turn, keen, gave way into far turn.
