Footnotes
REDLAND REBELS sent to the early lead, set the pace while well handled to the quarter marker, held sway to mid-stretch, drew off in hand late. RISK tracked the pace three to four wide to far turn, bid at the quarter marker, was no match for the winner into the lane and held well for second. COACH KAIN off bit slow, recovered and settled while never far back, was caught in traffic three wide into the far turn, needed more into the lane, ran on and got up for third. ESCAPE FROM HOME tracked between two wide, well placed to the far turn, no late kick. SIR CROSS TRAFFIC never far back, saved ground to the second turn, in tight then blocked to mid-stretch, angled out for the final sixteenth but could not muster the needed late response. CIBORIO ducked in start, gain four to five wide at the quarter marker, could not sustain that run and weakened in the stretch. BERKIEA close up inside, well placed to second turn, chased the pacesetter to mid-stretch, gave way in the late stages. CADENCED off slow, gain between to second turn, could not sustain bid. BRAVO ROUGH settled, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, no impact. HARD TALK lacked early speed, saved ground to stretch, no factor. IL VAGABUNDO settled mid-pack, bid three wide far turn, weakened stretch. CHING CHING attended pace to second turn, gave way, eased through the stretch and walked off.
