Footnotes
CAPTAIN EDDIE well placed along the inside, mounted a rail bid to upper stretch, responded through the lane and proved best. VALIANT WINTER close up early on, pressed three then two wide into the turn, led to mid-stretch, could not hold off the winner into the final sixteenth and held for second. RISK FACTOR bobbled at the start then allowed to settle, coaxed three wide to stretch, was gaining late and missed for second. G SPEEDY tracked the early pace from inside, angled four wide into the turn, advanced then chased into the stretch, could not sustain his run and flattened out late. FOUR BEACH FRIENDS chased between two wide to quarter pole, weakened stretch. GATORS REIGN showed speed, set pace inside to stretch, faded.
