IL MARCHESSE settled in the second flight early on, roused four wide nearing the quarter marker, battled through the lane and made a late push to prove best. LIVE TO RIDE (GB) set pace three wide to backstretch, came under pressure into the far turn then dug in to upper stretch stretch, met bid of IL MARCHESSE into the final sixteenth, was outfinished for the win and held safely for second. IMPERATUS unhurried, coaxed three wide upper, rallied between foes to deep stretch, got up for third. MILAZZO settled early, urged five wide to quarter marker, outkicked final sixteenth. BIG BOB tracked inside, vied second turn, battled stretch, yielded late. SWEET LAZARUS settled two wide to inside, lacked room quarter marker, stayed on into the lane, got caught in traffic into the final sixteenth then weakened in deep stretch. AMAURY M. V. P. stalked the pace between foes and two wide, vied to upper stretch, faded late. SOLO ME broke well, ceded early lead, saved ground, no late response.
