VINCEY GIRL settled inside, saved ground into the turn then angled four wide to upper stretch, rallied to vie for the lead at the furlong marker, shook free of HAULIN ICE into the final sixteenth then drove clear late. HAULIN ICE tracked the quick early pace, bid three wide at the quarter marker, led to mid-stretch, yielded to the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. NERAZURRI settled, swung four wide upper stretch, offered a mild bid for third. PUCKERED unhurried early, swung widest to upper stretch, mild late rally. GALLOP D'HERMES settled, saved ground to stretch, gained ground nearing the furlong pole, could not sustain that run to the final sixteenth and flattened out. RUMOURS HAVE IT pressed the quick early pace, took the lead nearing the quarter marker, battled to mid-stretch then gave way. ROYAL POPPY forward early, tracked three wide to turn, chased the leaders to upper stretch then weakened. POIEMA showed speed, set a fast pace while pressured into the turn, was overtaken nearing the quarter marker and gave way.
