DISATTACHED drifted first turn, tracked the pace from the outside along the backstretch, bid four wide to the quarter marker, battled MESSAGEFROMTHEKING to deep stretch and proved best. MESSAGEFROMTHEKING well placed early on, bid three wide far turn, battled the winner to the final sixteenth, was outfinished in deep stretch and held for second. WESTHAMPTON carried out first turn, allowed to settle into the backstretch, coaxed two wide upper, rallied for third. NOBLE TIGER settled, roused four wide to stretch, closed willingly and just missed for third. TRACKSTER tracked inside, got caught in traffic at the quarter pole, angled out, no final kick. CALVINO settled inside, rail bid to mid-stretch, outkicked late. WANNABEELOVED prompted pace to far turn, vied to mid-stretch, yielded late. SARATOGA CRUISER off step slow, saved ground, gain to upper stretch, flattened out. GIURO well placed inside to far turn, angled six wide upper, evenly. MOHAWK RIVER settled, coaxed four wide to upper stretch, no threat late. CHROMOTION set prompted pace to far turn, fought to mid-stretch, gave way. NOBLE STAR settled, trailed to upper stretch, no factor. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING ALONG THE FIRST TURN, SPECIFICALLY REVIEWING THE ACTIONS OF DISATTACHED AND WESTHAMPTON. THE STEWARDS DETERMINED THAT WHILE THERE WAS CONTACT MADE BETWEEN THOSE RUNNERS, IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO WARRANT A CHANGE AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
