Footnotes
VALUED CAJUN chased the early pace two then three wide, took command into upper stretch and led to the furlong marker, dug in approaching the final sixteenth, kept the runner-up at bay into deep stretch and lasted for the win. THREE LITTLE BIRDS off a step slow leaving the start, settled off of the early pace and saved ground heading to the turn, got caught a bit in tight nearing the top of the lane, angled out at the furlong grounds, finished well but was kept at bay in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for second. JAKER allowed to settle away from the start, swung five wide to upper stretch, closed the gap on the leading pair late and was clear in the end for third. FLASHOVER forwardly placed early on, tracked the pace three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and gave way. SENOR MONEY broke alertly then took back off of the early pace, asked for run three wide leaving the quarter pole, could not find the needed late response and passed tiring rivals. VALID SENSE allowed to settle, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, no threat in the stretch drive. GATORS REIGN showed good early speed, sprinted to a clear lead and dictated terms into the turn, was overtaken into upper stretch and faded past the furlong marker. MAX N FIFO off slow away from the gate, lacked early speed and did not factor in the stretch.
