ZEALOT sent for the early lead, sprinted clear along the turn, held sway to mid-stretch and was geared down in the late stages to win as much the best. LITTLE GUSSIE settled off of the early pace, saved ground to the stretch, could not muster the needed response into the final sixteenth but kept on late and got up for second. LULU MCJET chased the early pace from the inside, drifted out a bit leaving the quarter marker and ran in pursuit of ZEALOT to mid-stretch, was outkicked in the final furlong and just missed for second, while just holding for third. LOOKS TO KILL squeezed at the start and off a bit slowly, settled off of the early pace then advanced four wide nearing the quarter marker, could not muster a final response and just missed for the minor awards. VELVET RAGE broke alertly then took back off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn, angled six wide to upper stretch and made a mild late rally. MUCHO MACHO LADY tracked the early pace from between runners, caught a bit in tight nearing the quarter marker, was outkicked to mid-stretch and weakened in the late stages. ESTRELLA settled in mid-pack, was caught in traffic while three to four wide nearing the top of the lane, found room at mid-stretch then did not offer a late response. WHISKEY WHIM settled off of the early pace, coaxed along two wide then from the rail into upper stretch, no late response. FROSTY BELLE settled mid-pack, chased two then three wide to upper stretch and did not factor late. WICKEDTHISWAYCOMES forwardly placed in the early running, tracked the pace three wide to the turn, was well placed nearing the quarter marker, raced a bit in tight between runners into upper stretch then gave way in the drive. R GLORIOUS LIFE unhurried in the early going, raced outside of rivals along the turn, swung six wide to upper stretch and did not threaten in the late stages.
