DON'T FIRE JOE bobbled at the start and was off slowly, unhurried in the early stages, advanced along the inside into the second turn then was caught in traffic nearing the quarter pole, found room into upper stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong marker, wore down the runner-up into the final sixteenth and held in deep stretch for a determined win. NOT NOW NICK ceded the early lead then stalked from the inside into the backstretch, given his cue into the far turn, vied for the lead at the quarter marker and took command into the stretch, led to the furlong grounds and met the bid of DON'T FIRE JOE at mid-stretch, gamely battled to deep stretch, was outfinished in the final stages and was clear of the rest for second. LAW OF ONE raced close up to the early pace, tracked three wide into the backstretch then chased three wide into the far turn, ran in pursuit to the furlong marker, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and was clear at the finish for third. CADENCED settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked the pace up the backstretch then was well placed approaching the far turn, chased two to three wide to the quarter marker, shifted inside and ran in pursuit to mid-stretch then could not muster a final response. GOLD RULES broke a step slowly then was allowed to settle, saved ground to the far turn, could not find the needed late response and passed tiring rivals in the final furlong. STAR PRINCE was forwardly placed away from the start then caught a bit in tight heading to the first turn, took back off of the early pace, advanced three wide into the far turn, could not sustain that run into the stretch and weakened. POLIZON forwardly placed in the early stages, tracked the pace three wide to the backstretch, gave chase four wide into the far turn, could not keep pace to upper stretch and tired in the drive. KAHOLO hustled leaving the start, vied for the lead four wide into the first turn then took command and set the pace into the backstretch, set a decent pace from the two path heading to the far turn, overtaken to upper stretch, chased the leaders to the furlong marker then faded in the late stages.
