GAME IT forwardly placed early on, tracked the pace two then three wide along the turn, loomed past the quarter marker then took command inside of the furlong pole, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held well late for the win. SERENITY PATH settled in the second flight, advanced three wide nearing the quarter marker, spun four wide for the stretch drive, closed well into the final furlong, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and held late for second. CASH THE CHECK off a step slow to begin, advanced four then five wide approaching the top of the stretch, finished well into the final sixteenth and was along for third. TURKISH FLAME allowed to settle early, advanced two to three wide nearing the top of the lane, closed willingly into the final sixteenth but could not reel in the top three late. BELLA'S BREEZE sent for the early lead, showed good speed and sprinted clear into the turn, led to upper stretch, was overtaken into the final furlong and faded in the final sixteenth. GRAND THREAT settled mid-pack, chased three wide to the stretch and could not muster a late response. ATOMIC FLEA was bumped soon after the start and away a bit slowly, lacked early speed, advanced six wide nearing the quarter marker, could not sustain that run to the stretch and weakened late. MEARA'S WISH lost his path at the start and was off slowly, recovered and chased the early pace from the inside, saved ground to the stretch then could not threaten in the late stages. GRENACHE veered out at the start and was off slowly, lacked early speed, was coaxed three wide to the stretch and did not factor late. MONEY RULES chased the early pace from the inside, could not keep pace nearing the quarter marker, stopped into upper stretch and came up empty in the drive. THE TRAINER OF SERENITY PATH LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDER OF GAME IT, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THAT OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
