Footnotes
LISCA BIANCA allowed to settle early, loomed three wide nearing the quarter marker then vied for the lead into upper stretch, took command inside of the furlong pole, kicked clear into the final sixteenth and drew away late under hand urging. MAMUKA lacked early speed, advanced five then six wide along the far turn, rallied into the stretch, could not reel in the winner in the late stages and bested the rest. BONMATI sent for the early lead, set decent fractions up the backstretch, held foes at bay into the far turn, led to mid-stretch, was overtaken inside of the furlong marker, yielded to the top pair into the final sixteenth and held safely in the end for third. THREEDOTS ANDADASH unhurried away from the start, was caught in traffic into the far turn, angled four wide into upper stretch, needed more in the late stages, passed tiring rivals in the stretch drive and was outkicked late for third. MARABINA prominent away from the start, stalked the decent pace up the backstretch, advanced into the far turn and pressed the pace nearing the quarter marker, was turned away into upper stretch, could not find a final response and gave way in the drive. WIDERTHANAMILE settled in the second flight early on, chased five wide to the quarter marker, was outrun to upper stretch then weakened in the drive. SLENDER SLIPPER in tight and checked into the first turn, tracked the decent pace from the inside up the backstretch, chased from the rail into the far turn, lacked a response into the stretch and faded in the final furlong. MISCREANT tracked three wide to the backstretch, was well placed approaching the second turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter pole and tired in the stretch. AVE FENIX settled mid-pack, was caught in traffic two wide and between runners into the far turn, lost position into upper stretch and could not muster a final response.
