I'M SAM allowed to settle early, loomed four then five wide at the quarter marker, rallied to contention at mid-stretch, closed determinedly into the final sixteenth then surged in the final strides to prevail. CANDY ROAD vied for the early lead then rated off of the pace, was well placed to the turn, got caught in traffic nearing the quarter marker, found room into upper stretch then took command at the furlong grounds, dug in when challenged approaching the final sixteenth, was bested for the win in the final strides and was well clear for second. DON'T GO ASTRAY sent for the early lead, assumed command and set a decent pace to the quarter pole, led to upper stretch then was overtaken nearing the furlong marker, yielded to the top pair nearing the final sixteenth and just held for third at the wire. LOVETHISBIZZ lunged at the start and was off slowly, advanced outside of rivals along the turn, swung five to six wide for the stretch drive, was outkicked into the final furlong and just missed for third. FIFTEEN HUNDRED R settled while saving ground early on, angled four then five wide for the stretch drive, advanced at the furlong marker then flattened out late. RISTRE tracked the pace three wide to the quarter marker, chased four wide into the stretch then weakened. GOLDEN AMBITION raced close up in the early stages, stalked the pace to the quarter pole, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch then came up empty late. AWEGOD tracked the early pace two wide and from between runners, could not keep pace to upper stretch then tired in the drive. ILLUSTRATION lacked early speed, trailed to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch.
