ZO ZUCCHERA unhurried in the early going, worked to the outside of rivals along the backstretch, asked for run three wide nearing the quarter pole, vied for the lead into upper stretch, took command at the furlong grounds then kicked clear in the final sixteenth. SEEKING A PRAYER rated off of the early pace, saved ground to the backstretch, lost position nearing the quarter marker, angled out and re-rallied nearing the furlong grounds, could not impact the winner late and closed for a share of the place honors. LATTE LIZZIE forwardly placed early on, stalked the moderate pace to the second turn, chased from the inside into upper stretch, was outkicked in the final furlong and just held for a share of second. GULFSTREAM MARY D sent for the early lead, set a moderate pace to the far turn, met oncoming bids into upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and faded late. VINO LIMONE allowed to settle while never far back, trailed into the second turn, swung widest for the stretch drive then could not find the needed late response. SMOOTH CLARET tracked the early pace from outside of rivals, gained ground three then two wide into the far turn, was outkicked to mid-stretch then gave way in the late stages.
