CLASSIC OF COURSE settled three wide and between runners into the first turn, tracked the modest pace two wide and between foes heading to the half-mile pole, chased the leaders to the quarter marker, dove inside into upper stretch then rallied along the rail to mid-stretch, responded into the final sixteenth and got up in time for a determined win. I KNOW I KNOW away in good order, was prominent in the early stages and prompted the pace to the backstretch, pressed the moderate pace between rivals into the far turn, vied for the lead three wide into the stretch, took a narrow lead into the final sixteenth, was outfinished by his stablemate in deep stretch and held for second. WIN WITH FAITH settled four wide into the first turn, tracked the modest pace while outside of rivals along the backstretch, mounted a three wide bid nearing the quarter marker and vied for the lead into the stretch, battled to the final sixteenth, was outkicked in deep stretch and held for third. SIGAN VIENDO broke alertly and assumed early command, set a pressured pace to the backstretch, led to the quarter marker then dug in to upper stretch, battled past mid-stretch, could not hold off rivals into the final sixteenth and yielded late. PIQUANT allowed to settle in the early stages, asked for run three to four wide at the quarter marker, swung five wide for the stretch drive, could not sustain his run to the final sixteenth and flattened out. MARUVY settled in the second flight and between runners leaving the start, steadied while in tight along the first turn, shifted to the three path into the backstretch and tracked the pace to the half-mile, chased three wide to the quarter marker, was outkicked to upper stretch and gave way in the drive. BAKERS STREET settled and saved ground to the first turn, was caught in tight and checked hard along that bend, lost position but kept on into the backstretch, saved ground into the far turn, could not muster a response leaving the quarter marker and tired in the stretch. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING ALONG THE FIRST TURN. IN ADDITION, THE JOCKEY OF BAKERS STREET LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDERS OF CLASSIC OF COURSE AND WIN WITH FAITH, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE ALONG THE FIRST TURN. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
