SWEET CHA CHA rated nicely off of the early pace, given his cue four wide at the quarter marker, responded well into the final furlong, took command into the final sixteenth and edged away in the late stages. BULLET BLUES stalked the early pace, prompted SAYBROOK into the turn then vied for the lead to upper stretch, took command at the furlong marker then dug in nearing the final sixteenth, was overtaken by the winner in deep stretch and was second best. IMAPEPPA prominent away from the start, took back off of the early pace, tracked three wide to the quarter marker, got fanned five wide into the lane, advanced at mid-stretch then shifted in for the final sixteenth, was outkicked in deep stretch and was clear for third. GRAND JEFE settled off of the early pace, tracked between two wide heading to the quarter pole, chased three wide to mid-stretch then did not offer a late response. THINGSRGETTINHARRY allowed to settle early, roused four wide nearing the quarter marker, swung to the five path to upper stretch, advanced at the furlong grounds then flattened out in the late stages. GARRINCHA allowed to settle, saved ground into the turn, angled three to four wide for the stretch drive and could not find the needed late response. MUSTANG BAY unhurried to begin, roused two wide into the stretch, gained at the furlong pole then lacked a final response. SAYBROOK showed speed away from the start and assumed early command, set the pace to the quarter marker, was overtaken to upper stretch, stayed on past the furlong marker then tired late. SIXTEEN CIGARETTES settled early, saved ground into the turn, mounted a bid to mid-stretch, could not sustain that run late and faltered in the final sixteenth.
