RATED BY MERIT set a contested pace in the three path, was nudged along in the two path around the turn, shrugged off an outer challenger while floating out to the five path turning into the lane, and drew clear. NEOEQUOS prompted the pace in the four path, was ridden in the three path around the turn, lost touch with the winner while being floated out to the six path at the top of the stretch, angled back into the four path, and chased on to be second best. CLASSIC OF COURSE rated in the two path, was ridden along the rail around the turn, flattened from the two path down the lane, but held show. BIG PARADISE bobbled at the start, chased in the five path, floated out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but faded. LOU raced off the pace in the three path but never threatened. ZIZKA tracked inside but weakened.
