CALATHEA raced up close to the early pace, stalked outside of ONE MOMENT into the turn, took command nearing the five-sixteenths then drew off into the stretch, was kept to task to the final sixteenth and was hand urged to the wire to win as much the best. CHAMPAGNE MELODY forwardly placed early on, tracked the decent pace to the turn, ran in pursuit three wide to the stretch, was no match for the winner into the lane, stayed on to the final sixteenth and was best of the rest. CAWAMA settled outside of runners in the early going, was widest up the backstretch then pursued four wide into the turn, coaxed four wide to the stretch, was outkicked late for second and won the nod for third on the wire. ONE MOMENT sent for the early lead, showed good speed to the turn, was overtaken midway through the bend, yielded in the stretch and just missed for third at the wire. PRETTY GEISHA was void of early speed, trailed into the turn, coaxed two wide and between rivals to upper stretch, needed more in the late stages but improved position in deep stretch. EMPLOYEEOFTHEMONTH was forwardly placed while between rivals in the early stages, chased the decent pace two wide to the quarter marker, could not find more into upper stretch and weakened. QUEEN DIANA was shuffled at the start and away a bit slowly, coaxed four wide to upper stretch, lacked a final response. MARIO'S SWEET GIRL was forwardly placed early on, tracked the decent pace from the inside heading to the turn, lost position along the bend then gave way in the stretch. SPUN TO PURFECTION settled off of the early pace, ran in pursuit three wide into the turn, did not factor in the stretch drive.
