Footnotes
OUR SOUPER HERO broke alertly, vied for the early lead then took command into the first turn, made his own pace while well handled along the backstretch, showed the way while clear into the far turn, led to upper stretch and was set down into the final furlong, kept to task under firm late urging then held sway to the wire. SHOTGUN settled and saved ground into the first turn, saved all of the ground along the backstretch then into the far turn, rallied to upper stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and held well late for second. REPLEVIN settled in the second flight away from the gate, was unhurried up the backstretch, chased two then three wide into the far turn, swung five wide to upper stretch, closed into the final sixteenth and just missed for second, while holding safely in the end for third. FORTUNATE RYDER broke alertly and vied for the early lead, took back into the first turn, tracked the decent pace while saving ground along the backstretch, angled three wide into the far turn, swung to the four path to upper stretch then chased to the furlong marker, could not find the needed late response and was outkicked in deep stretch. ELEVEN BRAVO settled off of the early pace, was unhurried to the half-mile marker, advanced two wide into the far turn, bid between rivals to upper stretch, could not sustain his rally to the final sixteenth and flattened out late. SOUPER DOCUMENT was keen while close up to the early pace, settled into the backstretch then stalked OUR SOUPER HERO to the half-mile marker, chased into the far turn, swung two then three wide for the stretch drive, could not keep pace into the final furlong and weakened late. JUST SILVIA broke a bit awkwardly and was a step slow to begin, unhurried in the early going, settled outside of rivals into the backstretch, asked for run four wide into the far turn, swung five wide for the drive and did not factor in the late stages. MARC KENTUCKY (ARG) hopped then was crowded at the start and was off slowly, settled off of the early pace, raced three wide to the half-mile point, chased into the far turn, was outrun to the quarter pole and did not threaten in the stretch.
