Footnotes
BEIJING BOSS was hustled away from the start, went up to press the pace from outside of MAXIMUS CAT, chased that rival into the stretch, took command into the final sixteenth and held safely late to prove best. HOT LEAD (GB) allowed to settle in the early stages, coaxed three to four wide into the turn, angled to the rail into upper stretch, closed willingly along the fence into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner late and got up in time for the place. NIGHT tracked the early pace from outside of rivals, advanced into the turn and was well placed while three wide nearing the quarter marker, chased the leading pair into the stretch, was gaining late and just missed for second, while holding safely in the end for third. MAXIMUS CAT sent for the early lead, assumed command and set a pressured pace to the turn, showed speed while carving out a quick pace to the quarter marker, dug in to upper stretch and held off foes at the furlong marker, was overtaken into the final sixteenth and yielded in deep stretch. BROKEN SOUND took back off of the solid early pace, got to the inside heading into the turn, chased from the rail nearing the top of the lane, ran in pursuit to the furlong grounds and lacked the needed late response. KISSINTHELADIES settled off of the solid early pace, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, no threat in the stretch drive. KEI unhurried in the early stages, trailed into the turn, swung three to four wide for the stretch drive and did not factor late. DEUXIEME CHANCE broke a step slow leaving the start, rushed along the inside in the early stages, chased to the turn then lost position along the bend, got caught a bit in tight turning for home, steadied at the three-sixteenths marker then tired in the stretch drive.
