Footnotes
MISPRINT rated off the early pace, settled while not far back heading to the far turn, gained outside of rivals nearing the quarter marker, made a sweeping six wide rally to upper stretch, drifted in a bit at the furlong marker, took command past mid-stretch, dug in into the final sixteenth then edged away late. CHLOE'S TOY tracked the quick early pace from the second flight, mounted a four then five wide bid to upper stretch, was crowded a bit into the final furlong by MISPRINT, was outfinished by the winner into deep stretch and just held for second at the wire. CAJUN FANTASY was forwardly placed in the early stages, stalked the quick pace into the turn, angled four wide for the stretch drive then weaved between rivals into the final furlong, battled along the rail into the final sixteenth, was outkicked in deep stretch and just missed for second. FULMINATE pressed the quick early pace from between rivals, vied for the lead to upper stretch then took command into the drive, was overtaken into the final sixteenth and yielded late. SOPHISTICATED CAT settled off of the contested early pace, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, shifted to the three path to upper stretch, needed more in the late stages but was able to improve position in deep stretch. MY LADY JAMES rated just off of the early pace, saved ground along the backstretch and was well placed to the turn, tracked from the rail nearing the quarter marker then navigated traffic to upper stretch, chased between rivals to the furlong marker then could not muster the needed late response. TINKI ABARRIO broke slowly and was unhurried in the early stages, saved ground into the turn, made a steady advance to the quarter marker then was caught in traffic nearing the top of the lane, steadied while in tight nearing the furlong marker then could not muster the needed late response. SMOOTH PEBBLE settled off of the early pace, coaxed three then four wide to the stretch, could not muster the needed response and did not threaten late. CHAINA showed good early speed from the inside, disputed the pace into the turn, battled to the quarter marker then lost position to upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. PIZZICATO settled off of the early pace, was outrun into the turn, trailed to upper stretch and did not factor late. CHECK THE GRADE disputed the early pace from outside of rivals, pressed three wide into the turn and vied for the lead at the quarter marker, lost position into the stretch then faltered in the late stages. THE JOCKEY OF CHLOE'S TOY LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE JOCKEY OF MISPRINT, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH DRIVE. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THAT OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
