Footnotes
TALL STORY settled off of the solid early pace while never far back, roused four wide into the far turn, loomed nearing the quarter marker and vied for the lead to upper stretch, dueled TRACKSTER past mid-stretch, turned away the game runner-up in deep stretch and held safely in a drive to prevail. TRACKSTER was forwardly placed early on, tracked the solid pace up the backstretch, angled off of the rail into the far turn then bid between rivals to upper stretch, fought gamely into the final furlong, was repelled by the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest. CHANGE AT JAMAICA was unhurried in the early stages, given his cue into the far turn, swung five then six wide for the stretch drive, closed well into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the top pair late and was clear in the end for third. GIANLUCA BE LUCKY was prominent early on, ceded the lead into the first turn then stalked the solid pace into the backstretch, took command into the far turn, led to upper stretch then met oncoming bids nearing the furlong grounds, could not last into the final sixteenth and yielded late. ALWAYS TRUE settled three wide into the first turn, was unhurried up the backstretch while not far back, chased three then four wide to the quarter marker, made a steady advance to the furlong marker, could not find more into the final sixteenth and finished evenly late. MESSAGEFROMTHEKING settled in the second flight to begin, was well placed along the backstretch, chased two then three wide into the far turn, chased between rivals to upper stretch, ran in pursuit to the furlong marker then could not muster the needed final response. WESTHAMPTON settled and saved ground into the first turn, was well placed to the half-mile point, gained ground along the rail into the far turn, tipped out for the drive and chased to mid-stretch, could not find more into the final sixteenth and flattened out late. IL ALCHEMYSTA allowed to settle early on, saved ground to the second turn, angled three wide for the drive, ran evenly into the final furlong and did not threaten in the late stages. CRYPTONYM got squeezed back at the start and was off slowly, unhurried in the early stages, coaxed two wide to the quarter marker, chased three wide into the lane and did not factor late. REMINDER settled off of the early pace, advanced two wide into the far turn then was caught in traffic at the quarter pole, found room into upper stretch, could not muster a response into the final furlong and weakened. HASN'T HAD ENOUGH was sent for the early lead, took command into the first turn then set a quick pace into the backstretch, was overtaken into the second turn, could not keep pace to upper stretch, gave way in the drive and was not persevered with late.
